Opis - Pakiet składa się z dwóch książek "Zabójcy U-Bootów" i "U-977. Ostatni okręt Hitlera". W książce Zabójcy U-Bootów opisano pogromców niemieckiej floty podwodnej. Zaliczały się do nich samodzielne lub działające w ramach obrony konwojów morskich grupy wsparcia i grupy eskortowe. Składały się one z okrętów eskortowych, samolotów patrolowych dalekiego zasięgu operujących w celu zmniejszenia "dziury atlantyckiej" i lotniskowców eskortowych zapewniających osłonę lotniczą konwojom. Okręty eskorty często z myśliwych przeistaczały się w zwierzynę, stając się celem desperackich ataków U-Bootów. Musiało upłynąć kilka lat od wybuchu II wojny światowej, gdy wreszcie w 1943 roku alianci przestali przegrywać bitwę o Atlantyk i zaczęli ją wygrywać, bardzo powoli i z wielkim trudem. W nieograniczonej wojnie podwodnej prowadzonej przez U-Bootwaffe państwa sprzymierzone stosowały różne środki przeciwdziałania i bronie. W końcu szala przechyliła się na stronę aliantów. Wprowadzenie nowej taktyki walki, efektywne prowadzenie wojny przeciwpodwodnej zależało od zaawansowanej techniki, jak i od doświadczenia ludzi w granatowych mundurach. Trzeba było też mieć przysłowiowy łut szczęścia. Aliancka taktyka zwalczania okrętów podwodnych obejmowała tworzenie konwojów, agresywne tropienie U-Bootów i utrzymywanie ważnych okrętów poza znanymi miejscami koncentracji floty podwodnej wroga. Istotny wpływ na wynik bitwy o Atlantyk miał także wywiad morski (jednym z sekretów alianckich było złamanie kodów niemieckiej maszyny szyfrującej Enigma, co pozwalało śledzić "wilcze stada" i zmieniać trasy konwojów). Była to walka na śmierć i życie. W książce Zapomniana flota. Mokrany Mariusz Borowiak, autor znany z obalania "prawd historycznych" o Polskiej Marynarce Wojennej w latach 1918-1947, tym razem zajął się tragicznymi losami ludzi w granatowych mundurach po 17 września 1939 roku na wschodnich terenach II RP. Książka jest pierwszą w polskiej literaturze historycznej próbą opowiedzenia dziejów Flotylli Rzecznej MW w Pińsku po napaści Rosji Sowieckiej na Polskę. M. Borowiak jako jedyny zebrał bogate archiwum na temat zbrodni w Mokranach, nazywanej "małym marynarskim Katyniem". Książka jest przeznaczona dla szerokiego kręgu czytelników interesujących się PMW i jej historią, a także historią.
