For millions of citizens travel has become a reality, indeed a right (...) The air transport sector has seen a number of changes: the emergence of low cost airlines, the restructuring of other airlines, the opening up of new routes, and the availability of information or tickets on the Internet with a general reduction in fares. Millions of people have flown as a result of the setting up of an internal aviation market".3 According to Vice-President of the Commission Siim Kallas, responsible for transport "passengers need a common set of principles, so that they can be more easily aware of their rights if something goes wrong with their trip, regardless of the mode of transport they use or whether a journey takes place wholly within a single Member State or goes through an intra-Community or external frontier"4. Europe's success in securing and upholding passenger rights is one of the resounding achievements of the EU transport policy. Other measures are needed to protect passengers' interests and ensure that they fully profit from the single market.5 Air passenger rights can cover the following fields: People with disabilities and people with reduced mobility; Denied boarding; Cancellation; Long delays; Problems with Baggage; Identity of the airline; Package holidays; Price transparency. All these fields are covered by special regulations. Notwithstanding the most controversial and with unclear provisions is Regulation (EC) 261/20046. Therefore, there is a need to analyse the existing judgments and different theories in legal doctrine regarding this Regulation. It introduced important new rights for air passengers in the event of denied boarding, long delay, cancellations and downgrading. The Regulation took effect on 18 February 2005 and sets a minimum level of quality standards in order to protect passengers. It repealed Regulation (EEC) No. 295/91 and it sets out the entitlements of air passengers when a flight that they intend to travel on is delayed or cancelled, or when they are denied boarding to such a flight due to overbooking, or when the airline is unable to accommodate them in the class they had booked. It is very important to ensure a high level of protection for passengers. Moreover, full account should be taken of the requirements of consumer protection in general. As it is stated in Preamble to Regulation 261/2004, denied boarding and cancellation or long delay of flights cause serious trouble and inconvenience to passengers and the number of passengers denied boarding against their will remains too high, as does that affected by cancellations without prior warning and that affected by long delays. Therefore, it was necessary for the European Community to strengthen the rights of passengers and to ensure that air carriers operate under harmonized conditions in a liberalized market. It is also stated that the number of passengers denied boarding against their will should be reduced by requiring air carriers to call for volunteers to surrender their reservations, in exchange for benefits, instead of denying passengers boarding, and by fully compensating those finally denied boarding and that passengers denied boarding against their will should be able either to cancel their flights, with reimbursement of their tickets, or to continue 5 European Commission, Air - legislation in force since 2005 at: http://ec.europa.eu/transport/ themes/passengers/air/index_en.htm 6 Official Journal of the European Union, L 46, pp. 1-7 (17-2-2004). Opis - There"s so much Schubert, it"s easy to underestimate the large sections of it that are hardly listened to for reasons of changing taste or convenience. The two late Masses are masterpieces to rank alongside the three great songcycles and piano sonatas, the two piano trios and C major Symphony; accordingly they retain a place at the edge of the concert repertory. The case of the other four is more complex: of more practical dimensions for liturgical use, they are nonetheless devotional works organised more by Schubert"s musical inspiration than any doctrinal considerations, to which he never paid more than lip-service in his own turbulent life. Nonetheless, the most cursory attention given to the opening Kyrie of his First Mass, written for the church in Lichtental associated with the family, should demonstrate that the work was not undertaken casually or lightly. However, the especially radiant soprano solo may (as so often with Schubert) have a personal inspiration: in this case the affection and desire the 17-year-old composer was beginning to feel for the soprano Therese Grob. One of Schubert"s more reliable friends recalled a conversation, years later, in which the composer had confessed of Grob that "I loved someone very dearly and she loved me too". For three years she hoped I would marry her; but I could not find a position which would have provided for us both." The Third Mass, D.324 in E flat, is hardly less expansive, though now less often encountered than the pleasantly undemanding turn of the Second in G, D.167 with its tender Agnus Dei. The performances in this box set are a useful compendium of Schubert performing styles from the Czech Republic, Austria and Germany, culminating in a superbly detailed account of the E flat Mass D950, directed by Frieder Bernius, among the greatest living choral conductors in the German tradition. Although Schubert was not a traditionally religious person he found in the latin Liturgic text a consolation and an expression of his own personal emotions, both jubilant and despondent. Therefore his Masses are the reflection of his own beliefs and doubts, his deep feelings about life and death. This set contains the complete 6 Latin Masses and the "Deutsche Messe?. What's new in The Neville Goddard Collection? For starters I have reformatted his entire collection of 10 books. This makes it easier to read, understand and comprehend. I have also added 2 of his more famous lectures, The 1948 Class Lessons and The 1951 Radio Talks, making this the most complete Neville book available. While his 10 books covers most of his material, I felt what was missing is now covered in these 2 lecture series.From inside the bookEditors NotesThere are many noticeable differences in this collection of Neville Goddard's books that you are not likely to find in any other of his books or collections. As a student of metaphysical literature, I have come to appreciate the value of having a well formatted book which has greatly enhanced my learning curve. It was with this in mind that I have undertook this project, a labor of love, in reformatting, revamping and restructuring the entire layout of Neville's 10 books as well as two of his finest lecture series, the 1948 Classroom Lessons and July 1951 Radio Lectures/Talks.My reason for this is simple. It is easier for me, and I believe for anyone, to absorb the material of any book, especially a book of this caliber, when the formatting or layout isn't a distraction to the reader and allows them to put all their efforts and concentration into the content itself, which after all is the main purpose of studying a book such as this. I believe this new formatting will maximize and facilitate the students time as well as enhance the overall experience of studying the world's greatest mystic's teachings. I feel I have created an ambiance which will allow the reader to absorb the material with much greater ease.Changes . . . Improvements MadeWider margins, improved formatting/layout, chronological order of the year the books were originally published rather than alphabetical, with the exception of the 1948 Classroom Lessons and 1951 Radio Talks, which have been placed at the back of the book.I have left the chapter indexes out at the beginning of each book. Rather, I direct you to the master index at the end of the book, should you choose to locate your favorite chapters or books. There is a Book Directory at the beginning. The title page of each book now has the original year of publication for that specific book.I have also changed the headings. This will make it easier to know where you are in the book, while reading it, which I feel is important considering this book contains several different books and lectures. Each page heading now shows the title of the book . . The chapter number . . and the chapter title. This makes for an easy reference point no matter where you are in the book during your studies.I have removed the reference to verses (such as John 1:1) from all scripture and instead have centered and italicized each one, as to set it apart from Neville's teachings of that scripture. I believe the point he was making was about scripture and which actual verse it was, had no actual bearing on those interpretations.I have reserved 10 Pages for Notes, placed at the end of the book. This makes it more convenient, when referring back to them, rather than flipping through the book looking for specific notes.Also I have included suggested reading of other books at
