September-11 Code John Hunt O Books

Ksi±¿ki / Literatura obcojêzyczna

This book is too religious for New Agers, too occult for Christians, too numerical for spiritual seekers, too mystical for scientific types, was written by a nobody, is addressed to everybody and makes the most outrageous series of statements ever claimed as facts. So read it anyway and have your understanding of the world blown apart. The Secret Code is two things. Firstly, it is a chronicle of one man s dramatic spiritual awakening and the education he subsequently received from angelic tutors. Secondly, it is a concise summary of the alphanumerical code he was trained to find and the devastating revelations it contains. The code is found within the NIV Bible (2001 Edition), popular culture and two world-impacting events: the terrorist attacks of September the 11th, 2001 and the funeral of Pope John Paul II in 2005. It insists that 9/11, the first major event witnessed in real time by the entire world, was nothing less than a staged drama, depicting several biblical tableaux and containing the most electrifying news of all time. The book goes on to present further devastating revelations about Karol Jozef Wojtlya and Osama bin Laden. It ends with a message to us all from Jesus Christ.

Dog Heroes of September 11th -- A Tribute to America's Search and Rescue Dogs, now in its Tenth Anniversary second edition, is the first and only major publication to salute the canines that served our nation in the recovery missions following the terrorists' strikes on America. In his foreword to this edition, former New York City mayor Rudolph Giuliani says, "No American could be unmoved by the stories and images of these dogs and their handlers...Their journeys, as told in these pages, reinforce our resolve to persevere, rebuild and keep our nation safe and strong." A testament to man's best friend and his most critical role in American history, Dog Heroes of September 11th pays tribute to 79 canine heroes and their handlers, retelling their heart-stirring stories and photographically capturing many defining moments of the days that followed September 11, 2001. This oversized gift book features over 400 color photographs, many never seen except in this publication. Nona Kilgore Bauer, who has won multiple awards for her books on dogs, interviewed each of the handlers who participated in the recovery efforts at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, Shanksville, Penn., and the Fresh Kills landfill, the site to which remains from the fallen towers were transported, and lovingly retells their stories of heroism and bravery. In its first edition (released in 2006), Dog Heroes of September 11th won numerous awards, including book of the year from the Dog Writers Association of America, Book-of-the-Month Club, and the Independent Book Publishers Association. The second edition, expanded with over 100 new pages and over 150 new full-color photographs, presents chapters on military working dogs in Iraq and Afghanistan, the therapy dogs who worked at Ground Zero, the SDF's new National Training Center, and post-9/11 rescue missions at home and abroad. A special section, written by selected 9/11 handlers, pays tributes to their canine partners who passed away after their recovery missions. In addition to paying tribute to the dog-and-handler teams that were deployed after the attacks, this I-5 Press book supports the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation (SDF) in its mission to produce certified search and rescue teams to protect our whole nation. A portion of the proceeds of Dog Heroes of September 11th benefits the SDF.

"New York Then/New York Now" - a collection of essays, memoirs, interviews, commentary, and plays - contemplates New York City's history and future as a center for new, groundbreaking theatrical forms and ideas. Featuring the work of theater artists, producers, and critics, this special issue of "Theater" is primarily concerned with the ideas and practicalities of making theater in and for New York within specific historical, political, and economic contexts. The first section, "New York Then," reflects on the emergence, innovations, and import of the off-off-Broadway movement of the early 1960s, during the height of Cold War conservatism. The second section, "New York Now," turns to New York's recent and rapidly shifting artistic geography from the 1990s to the present. "New York Then" includes previously unpublished manifestos, plans, and letters from the formation of the legendary Judson Poets Theater and offers significant insight into the community, artistic impetus, and events that launched the off-off-Broadway movement.Excerpts from award-winning playwright Adrienne Kennedy's unpublished memoirs provide a first-person account of this moment in New York's theatrical history. In "New York Now," contributors examine the significant ramifications for the city's theater of such critical historical moments as the real estate boom of the 1990s, September 11, 2001, and the recent economic recession that has seen an exodus of arts organizations and artists out of the city. Included in this section are a round table discussion with leading New York artistic directors and producers about the imperilment of classical theater in contemporary New York; the young design collective CiNE's illustrated proposal for a social, aesthetic, and architectural transformation of the Joseph Papp Public Theater; and the full text of Les Freres Corbusier's play Boozy, a tongue-in-cheek fantasy that targets New York's ruthless urban planner Robert Moses.

'Judged in terms of the power, range, novelty, and influence of his thought, Noam Chomsky is arguably the most important intellectual alive.' New York Times Book Review ' One of the radical heroes of our age ...A towering intellect ...Powerful, always provocative.' Guardian 'Our greatest unraveller of accredited lies.' New Statesman 'An exploder of received truths.' New York Times 'On the one hand we have the established media, the respectable community of foreign affairs analysts, the government--and on the other, Noam Chomsky.' The Nation 'Thank God for Noam Chomsky.' Robert Fisk, The Independent This new, fully updated edition of Chomsky's classic dissection of terrorism explores the role of the US in the Middle East and reveals how the media are used to manipulate public opinion about what constitutes 'terrorism'. With several new chapters on the global crisis stemming from the events of September 11, as well as the original sections on Iran and the bombing of Libya, this is a brilliant account of the workings of state terrorism by the world's foremost critic of US imperialism. New chapters cover the second Palestinian Intifada - or War of Stones - that began in October 2000; A detailed account of the impact that September 11 has had on US foreign policy in the Middle East; Chomsky's deconstruction of depictions and perceptions of terrorism since September 11.

The 9/11 Commission's Report, by popular reckoning, has made an impression with its heft, its footnotes, its portrayal of the confusion of that sobering day, its detail, its narrative finesse. Yet under the magnifying glass of David Ray Griffin, eminent theologian and author of The New Pearl Harbor, the report appears much shabbier. In fact, there are holes in the places where detail ought to be thickest: Is it possible that Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld has given three different stories of what he was doing the morning of September 11, and that the Commission combines two of them and ignores eyewitness reports to the contrary? That the Commission fails even to mention Coleen Rowley, FBI whistleblower and Time person of the year? Griffin's critique of the Kean-Zelikow report makes clear that that the Commission charged with investigating all of the facts surrounding 9/11 has succeeded in obscuring, rather than unearthing, the truth.

Academic Paper from the year 2014 in the subject Sociology - War and Peace, Military, grade: 100.00, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Metropolitan Campus, course: Assessing Internal and External Threats, language: English, abstract: The events of September 11, 2001 changed the way the United States viewed terrorism forever. In a matter of hours, al Qaeda transformed from a foreign and incapable threat to a force to be reckoned with. This group had succeeded where many others had failed: bringing terror to our homeland.§Unfortunately, 9/11 was not an isolated event. Since then, there have been numerous groups aspiring to invade the US and bring terrorism to American soil. Al Qaeda was but an example of how a network of seemingly primitive individuals can quickly become organized and sophisticated. Despite being viewed as unbelievably ruthless and violent, dealing with al Qaeda did nothing to prepare the US and the rest of the world for the rise of what has become arguably the most bloodthirsty terrorist organization to date the Islamic State (ISIS).§Despite their continuous atrocities, they have successfully increased their numbers to over 31,000. One would immediately wonder who these individuals are that seek to join a group of bloodthirsty terrorists, however, the answer to that question is even more shocking than the question itself. Of the estimated 31,000 members roughly 15,000 are foreign born some of which are from Western nations. It is difficult to believe that so many Westerners would be willing to commit whole-heartedly to this life of violence against their own people, however, former terrorists indicate that once recruited, any semblance of morality is often replaced with a sense of duty to further the terrorist movement.§Due to the potential consequences of American membership in groups like ISIS, it is imperative to determine what causes these individuals to abandon all allegiance to their home nations and carryout attacks against their fellow countrymen. This paper shall identify and analyze the common character traits and environmental elements that push Western citizens towards terrorism and use these qualities to identify those with the highest likelihood of joining ISIS.
