Najnowsza część słynnych bootlegów Boba Dylana - The Bootleg Series, Vol. 10 - Another Self Portrait (1969-1971) rzuci nowe światło na najbardziej kontrowersyjny etap w życiu artysty. Kolekcja 35 trudno dostępnych, bądź nigdy wcześniej niepublikowanych nagrań pochodzi głównie z sesji nagraniowych z 1970 roku, jakie zaowocowały albumami `Self Portrait` i `New Morning` - odzwierciedlającymi jeden z najważniejszych twórczych okresów w karierze Dylana. `Self Portrait`, oryginalnie wydany w czerwcu 1970 roku, był dziesiątym krążkiem w karierze artysty a zarazem pierwszym, który otrzymał cięgi ze strony krytyków. Mimo to płyta dotarła na 4. miejsce zestawienia US Billboard 200 i na sam szczyt listy przebojów w Wielkiej Brytanii. Dylan zagrał tu w akompaniamencie skromnego grona muzyków - głównie Davida Bromberga (gitara) i Ala Koopera (klawisze, gitara) a rolę producenta materiału objął Bob Johnson, który w studio w Nashville dograł dodatkowo partie innych instrumentów. `Another Self Portrait` to zapis oryginalnych wersji tych utworów bez tych `dogrywek`. Podczas gdy `Self Portrait` był dziełem niemal `obrazoburczym`, mogącym zatrząść wizerunkiem Dylana jako `przedstawiciela swojej generacji` bo naginającym granice muzyki pop, następny krążek `New Morning` był ponownym zwrotem ku do własnym kompozycjom. `Another Self Portrait` pomaga prześledzić fanom muzyczną transportację Boba Dylana z przełomu lat 60. i 70-tych i w nieznanym dotąd świetle pokazuje geniusz wokalny Dylana, który w nowy sposób interpretuje tradycyjne utwory folkowe, jak i swoje własne. Wydawnictwo ukaże się w standardowej wersji dwupłytowej (2CD), winylowej (3LP + ten sam materiał na 2CD) oraz czteropłytowej wersji deluxe z dostępnym po raz pierwszy w całości historycznym występie Bob Dylan and The Band na festiwalu Isle of Wight Festival 31 sierpnia 1969 roku oraz na nowo zremasterowaną wersją oryginalnego materiału z płyty `Self Portrait`.
