Emphasis on "geography in action" by using point-counterpoint debates and by featuring "personal view" boxes that focus on an individual or family in a particular region. The point-counterpoint boxes highlight opposing sides of an issue such as the war between Pakistan and India over Kashmir. Reviewers requested less detail in the subregions and more information in the regional setting.
