Prologue Notification Belief Knowledge Dr. Hamer's New Medicine The formula: DHS - HH - SBS More than 30 years ago, I entitled an article about Frank Stelzer and his free piston engine "An inventor is a goofball". Someone or other who, at that time, read this 30-point headline probably may have thought that it wasn't the best way to begin a friendship. Frank Stelzer read the rest of the article, called me and said, "That's right, but...." "But what?" I asked. "Unless the invention speaks," he responded. Then he invited me, demonstrated the Stelzer engine, and made the invention speak. Tip: If you never liked prologues, or you would like to go straight to the topic Conflicts and the New Medicine, turn directly to Introduction to the New Medicine by Andreas Kroitzsch on page XX! The editor Since that time we have been friends. Very good friends! And Stelzer turned "his" introductory sentence into a trademark: "An inventor is a goofball - unless the invention speaks!" I am telling you about this, for, regarding Dr. Hamer's New Medicine we are dealing with a similar phenomenon. Like Stelzer, who turned everything that was imaginable in engine manufacturing upside down, and only received buying offers intended to keep his invention in the drawer, because his engine practically runs without wear, Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer, with the new Medicine, has also turned everything upside down in his area. And: "The invention speaks!" If you know our throwaway society, which turned sales into a god and consumption into his apostles, you won't be surprised that Hamer hasn't found a lobby either among those who have the power and the money. On the contrary. Someone like Geerd Hamer jeopardizes the income and the position of power of the ruling people, which was the main reason why he was arrested in France in the fall of 2004. Seventy-year-old Dr. Hamer is supposed to serve three years in prison. But that is another story, which would go beyond the scope of this book. If you would like to know more about the personal history of Dr. Hamer, you are be best served by reading his autobiography Einer gegen alle. Even if you don't agree with all of his conclusions and assumptions regarding his persecution, they are worth knowing about. Everyone can then form his or her own opinion accordingly. It is easier when it comes to the discovery of the New Medicine, where Hamer didn't leave any room for speculation. There is no room for belief or personality cult; there is only this one way of comprehension that, ultimately, gives us the certainty to be among the knowing. As is the case with any other education based on assured knowledge, the application of the New Medicine always leaves a result that can be checked. The scientific basis we often miss painfully - in the truest sense of the meaning - in the traditional medicine constitutes the foundation of Dr. Hamer's discovery. Hamer himself never left any room for exceptions. His statement is clear and precise without any room for speculation: "If there is only one single case the New Medicine can't be applied to, it is wrong!" The New Medicine proves itself again and again with every single case. The formula: DHS - HH - SBS, which will be explained at length in this book, doesn't allow for exceptions. The New Medicine knows no "maybe", no "possibly", and no "potentially." Hamer's discovery puts the key to the so-called diseases in our hands. The knowledge of the principles of the New Medicine helps us lose the fear of the diseases, because we understand the biological processes and can predict them in their entirety. But it is the small checkable truths we speak every day and have internalized since childhood in such a way that often prevents us from taking one more step towards understanding. Every one of us has been in a situation that was "hard to stomach" or "got under his or her skin?" These are all discreet clues showing that we carry the mechanisms and principles of the New Medicine in our sub-conscience. They are wasted - as long as we are not familiar with Hamer's New Medicine. It's like learning the times tables. Not until we know that two is the sum (result) of one plus one can we find our way to mathematics via digits and work with them sensibly. Knowledge always provides us with added value. This book helps you generate added value from your latent knowledge of the connection between situations and conditions. You should be willing to leave well-trodden paths. The ability to change the point of view in order to get to know new perspectives will also be helpful. You get the chance to replace old fears with new knowledge. Needless to say, that comes with a price tag. You will have to take personal responsibility if you want to benefit from your new knowledge. The opinion of your environment, especially that of traditional physicians, politicians, and the pharmaceutical industry is contradictory to your newly acquired knowledge. That is inconvenient, because you are inconvenient for the prevailing opinion. Particularly, if you realize for yourself that knowledge and belief are complete opposites. In the past, you have given away your trust concerning medicine and health and you believed in the traditional physicians. You believed that they'd know. This belief is the price you pay for your new knowledge of Hamer's New Medicine. There are no gods in white coats. And - and that is important - the New Medicine won't provide any substitute gods for you, not even one. The discoverer of the New Medicine, Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer, can't take the orphaned throne either. He is a discoverer, not an inventor or even a savior. Even if some of his supporters would like to press him in that position in order to push the responsibility towards him. If you want to give the responsibility for yourself to Dr. Hamer or somebody else, you have not understood the New Medicine, which requires knowledge and makes belief (ignorance!) redundant. You can't believe in science, you can just practice and understand it. All you need to do so is common sense. An excellent education based on "memorizing" isn't necessary, especially not with Dr. Hamer's New Medicine. Natural laws are so plausible that everybody can check them by watching his or her own body; even if he or she was an illiterate person who would be introduced to the New Medicine by a reader or taleteller, because we all know our body and many of the so-called diseases. We are all experienced and competent specialists in this area. With the assistance of a handbook that explains the New Medicine, we can find the causes of our so-called diseases ourselves and lead the ongoing processes to what the traditional medicine calls healing. The processes that really take place are Meaningful Special Biological Programs (SBS). And these are the processes Hamer discovered, catalogued, and described in simple words in order to give the control over our body back to us again. All rights reserved (c) by FAKTuell

"Although Geronimo is the main character in this book, the reader also is given a valuable insight into the lives of the Apache nation as a whole. The descriptive writing style allows the reader to project himself into each event and feel as if 'he were there.'" - "Military Review". "A valuable contribution to our knowledge of the Apaches, [the book] throws light upon many incidents in the career of Geronimo which have hitherto been obscure." - "American Historical Review". "Much more interesting than any fiction ever written about Indians ...a book that no one who is making a study of American Indians can afford to miss." - "Saturday Review". Britton Davis's account of the controversial "Geronimo Campaign" of 1885-86 offers an important firsthand picture of the famous Chiricahua warrior and the men who finally forced his surrender. Davis knew most of the people involved in the campaign and was himself in charge of Indian scouts, some of whom helped hunt down the small band of fugitives Robert M. Utley's foreword reevaluates the account for the modern reader and establishes its historical background.

How do we come to trust our knowledge of the world? What are the means by which we distinguish true from false accounts? Why do we credit one observational statement over another? This study engages these universal questions through a recreation of a crucial period in the history of early modern science: the social world of gentlemen-philosophers in 17th-century England. The author paints a picture of the relations between gentlemanly culture and scientific practice. He argues that problems of credibility in science were practically solved through the codes and conventions of genteel conduct: trust, civility, honour, and integrity. These codes formed, and arguably still form, an important basis for securing reliable knowledge about the natural world. Shapin uses detailed historical narrative to argue about the establishment of factual knowledge both in science and in everyday practice. Accounts of the mores and manners of gentlemen-philosophers are used to illustrate Shapin's broad claim that trust is imperative for constituting every kind of knowledge. Knowledge-making is always a collective enterprise: people have to know whom to trust in order to know something about the natural world.

Excerpt from Truth in Fiction: Twelve Tales With a Moral In faithful Obedience to an Old oracle once given during the time Of a fearful famine, the Oniahgahrahs sacrificed annually in the thundering waters the fairest and purest virgin Of the tribe. This sacrifice was not regarded as a sad or mournful event on the contrary, although the irresistible descent from the crest Of the cataract into the deep gorge, foaming and seething in an eternal tempest, was awful and appalling, the honor Of being chosen as the heroine Of the festival was greatly coveted by the young maidens. She who had been singled out to be Offered to the great spirit, had to rise in the assembly Of the people and to avow with a clear voice that she accepted the honor as a holy duty unhesitatingly, voluntarily, and gladly. Clad in white robes she acted as the priestess Of the feast, lifting up her hands in prayer, in thanks, and in blessings. Then she had to enter a white canoe decked with żowers and choice fruits, and while she was rapidly gliding down the stream upon the wild rapids Of the river her lot was envied rather than bewailed by her sisters who stood on the shore waving their hands and chanting a sacred song to the Great Spirit whose voice is heard in the thundering waters. Everything You Were Taught About African-Americans and the Civil War is Wrong, Ask a Southerner! Sea Raven Press

Książki / Literatura obcojęzyczna

Your history teachers lied to you! The American Civil War was not fought over slavery; genuine slavery was never practiced in the American South; Confederate President Jefferson Davis adopted a black child during the War and planned on abolishing slavery nearly a year before the Union did; and U.S. President Abraham Lincoln intended the Emancipation Proclamation to be temporary and spent his entire adult life trying to deport blacks "back to Africa." These and a thousand other well researched but little known facts are clearly presented in "Everything You Were Taught About African-Americans and the Civil War is Wrong, Ask a Southerner!" by award-winning author and Southern historian Lochlainn Seabrook. Why have you never heard of these facts before? Because the Liberal enemies of the traditional, conservative South have been carefully suppressing them for the last 150 years. For if the truth were to get out, their fake "race war" would be exposed and the countless illegalities and crimes perpetuated by the North during Lincoln's unconstitutional assault on the American people and their inalienable rights would be revealed. Mr. Seabrook divides his book into three convenient sections: "African-Americans Before Lincoln's War," "African-Americans During Lincoln's War," and "African-Americans After Lincoln's War," touching on a host of fascinating topics ranging from indigenous African slavery, white American slavery, and the birth of black American slavery in the North, to black Confederate soldiers, black KKK members, and the birth of the American abolition movement in the South. The book includes hundreds of rare illustrations and photos, scores of eyewitness accounts, copious endnotes, a comprehensive index, and an exhaustive bibliography. The result of decades of study, this important historically accurate work, with its emphasis on racial unification, is a must-read. Not just for Civil War buffs and scholars, but for anyone seeking a deeper and more factual understanding of African-Americans and the Civil War without an anti-South bias. You will never look at this conflict and its black and white participants the same way again! Available in paperback and hardcover, with a foreword by African-American educator Gregory Newson. Destined to become an American classic. Civil War scholar Lochlainn Seabrook, a descendant of the families of Alexander H. Stephens and John S. Mosby, is the most prolific and popular pro-South writer in the world today. Known as the "new Shelby Foote," he is a recipient of the prestigious Jefferson Davis Historical Gold Medal and the author of over 45 books. A seventh-generation Kentuckian of Appalachian heritage and the sixth great-grandson of the Earl of Oxford, Mr. Seabrook has a forty-year background in American and Southern history, and is the author of the runaway bestsellers "Everything You Were Taught About the Civil War is Wrong, Ask a Southerner!" and "Everything You Were Taught About American Slavery is Wrong, Ask a Southerner!" His other works include: "Confederate Flag Facts: What Every American Should Know About Dixie's Southern Cross": "The Great Yankee Coverup: What the North Doesn't Want You to Know About Lincoln's War"; "Give This Book to a Yankee: A Southern Guide to the Civil War for Northerners": "Confederacy 101: Amazing Facts You Never Knew About America's Oldest Political Tradition"; "Slavery 101: Amazing Facts You Never Knew About America's 'Peculiar Institution'"; and "A Rebel Born: A Defense of Nathan Bedford Forrest."

I, Partridge: We Need To Talk About Alan Harper Collins Publishers

Książki / Literatura obcojęzyczna

Journalist, presenter, broadcaster, husband, father, vigorous all-rounder: Alan Partridge. Star of action blockbuster Alpha Papa; a man with a fascinating past and an amazing future. Gregarious and popular, yet Alan's never happier than when relaxing in his own five-bedroom, south-built house with three acres of land and access to a private stream. But who is this mysterious enigma? Alan Gordon Partridge is the best - and best-loved - radio presenter in the region. Born into a changing world of rationing, Teddy Boys, apes in space and the launch of ITV, Alan's broadcasting career began as chief DJ of Radio Smile at St. Luke's Hospital in Norwich. After replacing Peter Flint as the presenter of Scout About, he entered the top 8 of BBC sports presenters. But Alan's big break came with his primetime BBC chat show Knowing Me, Knowing You. Sadly, the show battled against poor scheduling, having been put up against News at Ten, then in its heyday. Due to declining ratings, a single catastrophic hitch (the killing of a guest on air) and the dumbing down of network TV, Alan's show was cancelled. Not to be dissuaded, he embraced this opportunity to wind up his production company, leave London and fulfil a lifelong ambition to return to his roots in local radio. Now single, Alan is an intensely private man but he opens up, for the second time, in this candid, entertaining, often deeply emotional - and of course compelling - memoir, written entirely in his own words. (Alan quickly dispelled the idea of using a ghost writer. With a grade B English Language O-Level, he knew he was up to the task.) He speaks touchingly about his tragic Toblerone addiction, and the painful moment when unsold copies of his first autobiography, Bouncing Back, were pulped like 'word porridge'. He reveals all about his relationship with his ex-Ukrainian girlfriend, Sonja, with whom he had sex at least twice a day, and the truth about the thick people who make key decisions at the BBC. A literary tour de force, I, Partridge: We Need to Talk About Alan charts the incredible journey of one of our greatest broadcasters.

Snow White's Seven Patches: A Vitiligo Fairy Tale is a modern-day story with the classical theme of good conquering evil. You'll find the age-old ingredients of a magic mirror, poisonous apple, dwarfs, and romance here. However, this adaptation includes a vain mother who's so clouded by beauty myths that she keeps her own daughter a secret, while plagiarizing the workings of her mind. Everything falls apart when the good mirror finally speaks the truth. Young readers with vitiligo will look at their own skin patches with a unique lens, finding interesting shapes and stories behind each puffy cloud of white. Readers will be introduced to the firsthand-hurt that plagiarism can cause through Snow White's experience. The loving dwarf family illustrates that helping people in need should be a priority in life. Readers learn that not all princesses look alike. The concept of "beauty is within the eye of the beholder" is exemplified by the prince and magic mirror. "Life is not really perfect, even if you are so-called normal. Children must grow and overcome then move on through the many difficulties that arise in their lives, some can be the lack of understanding, sympathy and acceptance. For those who are disabled in one way or another, not perfect, this can be an ongoing reality. Jewel Kats has an insight into the world of children who have life stacked against them. This is just one of her retellings of a timeless tale geared to helping others, and if it can be done, righting a wrong." --J.D. Holiday, author, illustrator, host of Book Garden Radio "Jewel Kats entertains and engages, highlighting significant issues that resonate with children and adults alike. In Snow White's Seven Patches, Jewel emphasizes how to overcome adversity with creativity. She encourages children to maintain a healthy perspective about their physical appearance. Political satire as deeper truth: Donald Trump's presidential memoir, as recorded by two world-renowned Trump scholars, and experts on greatness generally "I have the best words, beautiful words, as everybody has been talking and talking about for a long time. Also? The best sentences and, what do you call them, paragraphs . My previous books were great and sold extremely, unbelievably well--even the ones by dishonest, disgusting so-called journalists. But those writers didn't understand Trump, because quite frankly they were major losers. People say if you want it done right you have to do it yourself, even when 'it' is a 'memoir.' So every word of this book was written by me, using a special advanced word processing system during the many, many nights I've been forced to stay alone in the White House--only me, just me, trust me, nobody helped. And it's all 100% true, so true--people are already saying it may be the truest book ever published. Enjoy." Until Donald Trump publishes his account of his entire four or eight or one-and-a-half years in the White House, the definitive chronicle will be You Can't Spell America Without Me: The Really Tremendous Inside Story of My Fantastic First Year As President. He was elected because he was the most frank presidential candidate in history, a man always eager to tell the unvarnished truth about others' flaws as well as his own excellence. Now that refreshingly compulsive un-PC candor is applied to his time as leader of the free world. The mind-boggling private encounters with world leaders. The genius backroom strategy sessions with White House advisers. His triumphs over the dishonest news media. The historic, world-changing decisions -- many of them secret until now. What he really thinks of Melania and Ivanka and Jared, Donald Jr. and Eric and the other one. And many spectacular, historic, exclusive photographs of him in private and public, making America great again. Presented by two of America's foremost Trump scholars, Alec Baldwin and Kurt Andersen.

Spiritual Guide Cascade Books

Książki / Literatura obcojęzyczna

Many people ask, ""How can I live a more spiritual life, a life that can ultimately lead to enlightenment?"" And by way of an answer this book describes four of the most important steps that we can take along the spiritual path--staying open to suffering, living a generous life, cultivating mindfulness and wonder, and accepting death but affirming joy. The Spiritual Guide offers a clear discussion of basic spiritual themes. It does not assume the truth of any given standpoint, and it has something to say to all people, regardless of their religious affiliation or lack of it. Most of us are profoundly concerned with meaning-of-life issues, but academic philosophy is remote while ""new age"" spirituality can be impossibly vague. This book uses parables, philosophical ideas, and stories from a variety of religious and philosophical traditions to illuminate what it means to live in a spiritual way. The Spiritual Guide is both practical and theoretical, and it speaks directly to readers as students of life. ""Here is a wonderfully compact gift--a profound and refreshing oasis in our daily desert of distraction. Professor White's reach is wide. Through gracefully embracing the heartbeat of major religions, he reminds us of our spiritual core. He takes us on a treasured journey that prompts us to awaken to who we are: pilgrims on our intimate and ultimate quest for that which makes life worth living."" --Michael C. Brannigan, Pfaff Endowed Chair in Ethics and Moral Values, The College of Saint Rose ""In a time when discussions of spirituality tend to be either grossly superficial or too narrowly specialized, Richard White's Spiritual Guide comes as a welcome surprise. White's treatment of spirituality is both profound and accessible, grounded in stories and examples from the world's great philosophical and religious traditions, yet attuned to the challenges of living in today's technologically sophisticated and pluralistic world. The Spiritual Guide is an exceptionally clear book on a topic generally not known for clarity. By focusing on four steps to a spiritual life, White artfully manages to articulate a theory of spirituality while focusing on the practical steps one can take to live a more meaningful life. In this way, White recovers the wisdom of ancient traditions, namely, that the quality of one's life is chiefly influenced by one's understanding of the world, and that a mature understanding is something one acquires over time by responding to suffering with compassion, by learning to live generously, by cultivating wonder, and by acknowledging death in order to live with joy. This book will be well worth reading for anyone who wants to learn more about the enduring relevance of spiritual wisdom and also live a spiritually fulfilled life.""  --Richard Kyte, Endowed Professor, D. B. Reinhart Institute for Ethics in Leadership, Viterbo University Richard White is Professor of Philosophy at Creighton University in Omaha. His most recent books include The Heart of Wisdom (2013), Radical Virtues (2008), and Love's Philosophy (2001).
