Opis - Początków T. Love należy szukać w 1980 roku. Wtedy to Zygmunt "Muniek" Staszczyk pojechał do Sopotu na festiwal Pop Session, uczestniczył tam w koncercie grupy Kryzys, a po nim zapragnął założyć zespół. Już rok później z grupą Opozycja stanął na jarocińskiej scenie, ale tak naprawdę powstały na początku 1982 roku T. Love Alternative ("T" było skrótem od Teenage) stał się początkiem drogi na szczyty popularności. Pierwszy koncert grupa dała 4 lutego 1982 r. na "wojennej" studniówce w IV LO w Częstochowie, a oprócz śpiewającego i grającego na gitarze basowej Muńka wystąpili perkusista Jacek "Słoniu" Wudecki, klawiszowiec Darek Zając i gitarzysta Janusz Knorowski. Już z saksofonistą Jarkiem Woszczyną i basistą Jackiem "Koniem" Śliwczyńskim (Muniek zrezygnował z gry na tym instrumencie) T. Love Alternative zakwalifikował się do konkursu festiwalu Jarocin '83 i mimo że nie zdobył tam nawet wyróżnienia, zapraszano go do kolejnych edycji w roli gościa. Grupa szybko zjednała sobie rzeszę fanów stając się symbolem imprezy. Proponowana przez nią muzyka nowofalowa z elementami folku i pastiszu, połączona ze świetnymi tekstami Muńka opowiadającymi o zdegenerowanym świecie, okazały się jednym z najmocniejszych głosów polskiego rocka niezależnego lat 80. Również dlatego, że formacja Muńka jako pierwsza w Polsce zaczęła własnym sumptem wydawać swoje nagrania. Kasety Nasz Bubelon i Chamy idą nagrane z gitarzystą Andrzejem Zeńczewskim, a zawierające najważniejsze utwory zespołu z tamtych lat, jak Wychowanie, Karuzela, Marzyciele, Ogolone kobiety czy Garaż, trafiły do tysięcy domów w całej Polsce. , Oficjalnym debiutem fonograficznym okazała się natomiast piosenka Zabijanka, która znalazła się na kompilacji Jeszcze młodsza generacja (85), a kolejnymi wydawnictwami: singel z utworami Garaż '86, My marzyciele i IV Liceum z 1986 roku oraz płyta długogrająca Miejscowi-live (1988) nagrana podczas koncertów w warszawskiej Rivierze (już z Rafałem Włoczewskim w miejsce Knorowskiego). Niedługo po tych występach grupa zrezygnowała z przydomku Alternative, bo - jak tłumaczył Muniek - piosenki zespołu zaczęły być emitowane w ogólnopolskim Programie III PR i słowo to nie pasowało do wizerunku grupy, która powoli stawała się częścią mainstreamu. Już kolejny zbiór Wychowanie podpisano skróconą nazwą. T. Love Alternative wracało w kolejnych dekadach kilkukrotnie występując przy okazji premier płyt z nagraniami archiwalnymi. Po wydaniu Wychowania Muniek rozwiązał T. Love i wyjechał w celach zarobkowych do Londynu, gdzie przebywał pół roku. Po powrocie reaktywował zespół z nowymi muzykami. Liderem muzycznym odnowionego T. Love został gitarzysta Janek Benedek, a w składzie pojawił się też perkusista Jarosław "Sidney" Polak, do dziś podstawowa postać formacji. Lata 90. zespół rozpoczął krążkiem Pocisk miłości, a pochodząca z niego Warszawa stała się jednym z największych przebojów ostatniego ćwierćwiecza. Już wówczas Muniek z walczącego buntownika stał się rock'n'rollowym gawędziarzem i świetnym obserwatorem zmieniającej się rzeczywistości. Zresztą sam T. Love umiejętnie zmieniał swoje muzyczne oblicze. Benedek wprowadził feeling znany z nagrań The Rolling Stones, a po jego odejściu w 1993 roku (po albumie King! zawierającym kolejne przeboje: King, Nabrani, Stany) zespół na każdej płycie ewoluował i bawił się konwencjami - szorstkim punk rockiem na Prymityw, glam rockiem i ska na Al Capone i Chłopaki nie płaczą (ogromnym powodzeniem cieszyła się piosenka tytułowa będąca pastiszem popularnych wówczas boys bandów), brytyjskim i amerykańskim rockiem alternatywnym na Antyidol i I Hate Rock'n'Roll czy bluesem, folkiem i country na Old Is Gold. Przez ten czas zmieniał się też skład zespołu. Jeszcze przy albumach Pocisk miłości i King! za repertuar odpowiadał tandem Staszczyk/Benedek, ale po odejściu Benedeka komponować zaczęli wszyscy ówcześni członkowie zespołu: Polak, gitarzyści Jacek Perkowski (eks-De Mono, Azyl P., Kobranocka) i Maciej Majchrzak (eks-Incrowd) oraz basista Paweł Nazimek (eks-Sztywny Pal Azji, Chłopcy z Placu Broni). Zresztą skład ten utrzymał się aż do roku 2004, kiedy do T. Love doszedł saksofonista Tom Pierzchalski (występował już w latach 1985-89), rok później klawiszowiec Michał Marecki, a w 2007 roku Janek Pęczak, który zastąpił Perkowskiego. T. Love jest laureatem wielu nagród, w tym Fryderyków (za albumy Model 01 i Old Is Gold) czy SuperJedynek (za Model 01). Piosenki zespołu trafiły też do filmów, jak choćby Balanga Łukasza Wylężałka czy Superprodukcja Juliusza Machulskiego. Większość albumów stała się złotymi płytami, a składanka Love Love Love The Very BesT. Love uzyskała status płyty platynowej. Muzycy T. Love nagrywają też poza macierzystym zespołem. Największy sukces odnieśli Muniek z Zeńczewskim, którzy stworzyli Szwagierkolaskę (Luksus - 1995, Kicha - 1999) i Sidney Polak nagrywający solowe płyty (Sidney Polak - 2004, Cyfrowy styl życia - 2009). Muniek też ma na koncie płytę solową Muniek (2010) z piosenkami skomponowanymi przez Benedeka, występuje z efemerycznymi zespołami Rege Polish Inna Stylee, Cukierki, Paul Pavique Movement (z Majchrzakiem i z Pawłem Dunin Wąsowiczem). Frederick Winslow Taylor was an early advocate for applying 'scientific' principles to the management of men, machines, and factories. Few realize, though, the the 'Efficiency Movement' that he helped foment extended well beyond the factory floor.
